Description
BOOK DESCRIPTIONReport on excavations that took place between 1987 and 1994, in the northern part of the Insula 39, situated between the amphitheatre and a guest-house. The remains date from the outset of the colonia, shortly after the founding of the town by Trajan to the third century AD. An L-shaped building, silversmith's workshop, a tank-system indicating a tannery or dye-work, remains of smaller houses, courtyards and sheds were found.
